Ingredients:
-
2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
-
1 cup vanilla ice cream
-
1 cup milk (adjustable for desired thickness)
-
1 tablespoon honey or simple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
-
Whipped cream, for topping
-
Fresh strawberries and a cherry, for garnish
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Strawberries: Wash and hull the strawberries. Slice them into smaller pieces to make it easier for the blender to process.
-
Blend the Strawberries: Place the sliced strawberries and 1 cup of milk into the soup maker and choose the "Blend" mode. Blend until the strawberries are smooth and well-pureed. This will create a nice strawberry base for your milkshake.
-
Add Ice Cream and Milk: Add the vanilla ice cream to the soup maker. If you prefer a thinner milkshake, you can add an additional 1/2 cup of milk at this stage. Blend again until everything is smooth and creamy.
-
Sweeten and Flavor (Optional): If you want a sweeter milkshake, add the honey or simple syrup. You can also add a teaspoon of vanilla extract for extra flavor. Blend again to combine.
-
Check Consistency: Give the mixture a quick taste and adjust the consistency if needed. If it’s too thick, add a little more milk. If it’s too thin, you can add a bit more ice cream.
-
Pour and Serve: Pour the milkshake into glasses. Top each glass with a generous dollop of whipped cream. Garnish with a fresh strawberry and a cherry on top.
