Ingredients
  • 1.5 kg pumpkin, peeled and diced into evenly sized chunks

  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.5 L vegetable broth or chicken broth
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper (or to taste)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter (optional, for sautéing)
Instructions
  1. Prepare the Ingredients
    • Peel the pumpkin and dice it into evenly sized chunks. Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic.
  2. Combine All Ingredients
    • Place the pumpkin chunks, chopped onion, minced garlic, vegetable or chicken broth, ground nutmeg, ground cinnamon, salt, and black pepper into the soup maker. If you prefer a richer flavor, you can sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil or butter before adding them to the soup maker.
  3. Select the Smooth Mode
    • Close the lid of the soup maker securely. Choose the “Smooth” mode. This mode will blend the ingredients into a creamy and smooth consistency. Allow the soup maker to work its magic for around 30 minutes.
  4. Taste and Adjust Seasoning
    • Once the soup is done, carefully open the lid. Give the soup a taste and adjust the seasoning if needed by adding more salt, pepper, or spices according to your preference.
  5. Serve Hot
