Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of bread: Choose your favorite type, such as white, wheat, or brioche.
  • 1/2 cup Nutella or other chocolate hazelnut spread: This is a generous amount to ensure every bite is filled with flavor.
  • 1 banana: Ripe for maximum sweetness, sliced into 1/4-inch thick rounds.

 

Equipment:

  • Homtone pizza oven with toast function.
  • Baking sheet or enameled baking tray.
  • Tongs or oven mitts for handling hot trays.
  • Serving plate.

 

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Bread
Spread Nutella: Using a knife or a spreader, evenly spread a layer of Nutella on each slice of bread. Make sure to cover the entire surface for uniform flavor distribution.

Step 2: Assemble the Toast
Top with Banana: Arrange the banana slices on top of the Nutella layer. You can overlap the slices slightly, but ensure they are spread evenly across the bread.

Step 3: Toast the Bread
Place in Oven: Place the prepared toasts on your baking sheet or enameled baking tray.
Set: Set your oven to the TOAST function at 350°F (175°C). This temperature will provide a nice toast without burning the bread.
Toast: Put the tray in the oven and toast for 5-6 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the banana slices are slightly softened. Keep an eye on the toast to prevent burning.

Step 4: Check and Serve
Check for Doneness: After 5-6 minutes, check the toast for a golden brown color and a crispy texture.
