Ingredients

  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries, powdered
  • red food coloring, if desired

Instructions

Combine sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Mix well and set aside.
Add heavy whipping cream to an ice cream bowl along with the sweetened condensed milk mixture. Select the ice cream mode and churn until the mixture reaches a soft-serve ice cream consistency. Once done, pour it into a rectangular baking dish and use cake cardboard or parchment paper as dividers. Place it in the refrigerator to chill.
Again, add heavy whipping cream and the sweetened condensed milk mixture to the ice cream bowl. While mixing, add cocoa powder. Mix well, then select the ice cream mode and churn until it reaches a soft-serve ice cream consistency or until the mode ends. Pour the mixture into the baking dish, use dividers again, and chill in the refrigerator.
Finally, add heavy whipping cream and the sweetened condensed milk mixture to a bowl once more. Incorporate powdered freeze-dried strawberries and a few drops of red food coloring. Select the ice cream mode and churn until a soft-serve consistency or until the mode ends, aiming for a light pink color.
Cover the entire baking dish with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 5 hours or overnight until firm. Serve by scooping out the ice cream.
