Product: Homtone Soup Maker 2L, 6-in-1 Multifunctional Smooth and Chunky Soupma

You’ve just enjoyed a piping-hot bowl of silky tomato-basil or a hearty winter-lamb broth, and now the last thing you want to deal with is a messy appliance. Good news: cleaning the Soup Maker is quick, simple, and—unlike the soup—doesn’t require any cooking skills. Follow this guide and your machine will stay sparkling, odor-free, and ready for the next batch.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Safety First – Unplug & Cool Down

Before you do anything else, unplug the unit and let it cool completely. The heating element retains heat for several minutes after the beep, and touching it too soon is an easy way to burn yourself.

2. Remove the Lid & Rinse the Blade

Pop the lid off carefully—the blades are razor-sharp.
  • Hold the lid under warm running water.
  • Use a soft sponge to wipe the blending blade and the underside of the lid.
  • Never submerge the base or the power socket in water.

3. Tackle the Jug

The stainless-steel jug is NOT dishwasher-safe, but hand-cleaning is a breeze.
A. Light Residue
  • Fill the jug halfway with warm, soapy water.
  • Swirl gently and wipe with a sponge.
  • Rinse and air-dry.
B. Stubborn, Burned-On Food
  • Fill the jug with hot soapy water and let it soak for 15 minutes.
  • Use a coarse sponge pad—never metal scouring pads—to lift the residue.
  • Rinse thoroughly.

4. Use the Built-In Clean Cycle (4 Minutes)

If you’re short on time, let the machine do the work:
  1. Add 750 ml of warm water and a drop of mild detergent to the jug.
  2. Secure the lid.
  3. Plug in, press MODE until the CLEAN icon lights up, then hit START/STOP.
  4. After the 4-minute cycle, pour out the soapy water, rinse the jug, and wipe dry.

5. Wipe the Exterior

Finish by wiping the outside of the base and control panel with a soft, dry cloth. This keeps fingerprints and splashes from building up.

6. Reassemble & Store

Once every part is completely dry, reassemble the unit. Store it on a flat surface with the cord wrapped loosely—never pinched or dangling over the counter edge.

Quick Dos & Don’ts

✔ Do clean immediately after each use to prevent food from hardening.
✔ Do remove the lid only after the blades have stopped spinning.
✖ Don’t immerse the base or cable in water.
✖ Don’t use abrasive cleaners or metal scourers—they’ll scratch the jug’s surface.

There you have it! In under ten minutes, your soup maker is spotless and ready for tomorrow’s butternut squash or strawberry-banana smoothie. Happy blending—and even happier cleaning!
